Theatres and other forms of live entertainment have existed for thousands of years. However, the new 'Shrewsbury Theatre Severn' that bc² are involved with is a truly twenty first century piece of architecture.

This contemporary theatre features numerous elements which make the building both very functional and attrative. The building comprises a main auditorium with a seating capacity which is able to cope with six hundred and fifty people, a dance studio, and various other facilities across the complex.

bc² helped to realise this project through the extensive use of computer modelling technology. This was employed across all levels of the design to assist the team in developing the optimum sustainable design for the proposed building. As can be seen from the simulated photographs below the results are sure to be a spectacular addition to Shrewsbury that can be appreciated by all.
